KSF filed an ERISA class action complaint on April 17, 2026, against Providence Health & Services, St. Joseph Health System, and certain of their officers and directors in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington on behalf of participants and beneficiaries of Providence’s retirement plans. Plaintiffs allege that defendants breached their fiduciary duties by, among other things, failing to divest an underperforming investment option and failing to adequately monitor the administration and management of plan investments. Plaintiffs seek approximately $70 million in alleged damages, as well as lost opportunity costs.
