On September 1, 2026, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee granted preliminary approval of a settlement agreement resolving the derivative action, under which defendants have agreed to implement various corporate reforms and pay $12 million to Acadia Healthcare.

In an order entered on May 21, 2026, the Delaware Court of Chancery stayed a shareholder derivative action brought by KSF on behalf of Acadia Healthcare in light of the parties’ agreement in principle to settle the claims asserted therein and in certain related derivative actions.
