On October 22, 2025, the Hon. Jesus G. Bernal denied CoStar defendant’s motion to dismiss a data privacy class action complaint. The suit alleges that CoStar installed trackers on its websites that collected and shared users’ personal information.
After more than four years of litigation, the Hon. Maxine Chesney entered a Final Judgment approving a $27.5 million settlement for the Class in a Class action against Aimmune Therapeutics.
On December 18, 2024, a Final Judgment of $189 million settlement of the Class’s claims in Dicker v. TuSimple Holdings, Inc. et al., was approved.
The Hon. Roger T. Benitez preliminarily approved a $189,000,000 class action settlement in the TuSimple securities class action.
The Hon. Susan Illston entered a Final Judgment approving a $27.5 million settlement of the Class’s claims in the Velodyne Lidar litigation.
The Hon. Cynthia Bashant entered a Final Judgment approving a $7.75 million settlement in a Class action for breach of federal securities laws relating to a proposed merger of pharmaceutical company GW Pharmaceuticals.
The Hon. Alvin K. Hellerstein entered a Final Judgment approving a $5.65 million settlement for the Class.
The Hon. Cormac J. Carney entered a Final Judgment approving a settlement valued at $35 million in cash and stock for the Class.
On July 14, 2023, the court certified a class of shareholders in Moradpour v. Velodyne Lidar, Inc., et al., No. 3:21-cv-01486, a securities fraud class action pending in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
On December 20, 2022 a $5,650,000 class action settlement on behalf of persons who purchased Pareteum securities between December 14, 2017, and October 21, 2019, inclusive was preliminarily approved.
On February 14, 2023 a $35M class action settlement on behalf of persons who purchased the securities of Workhorse between March 10, 2020 and May 10, 2021, inclusive was preliminarily approved.
The Hon. Colleen McMahon entered a Final Judgment approving a $165 million settlement of Lead Plaintiffs’ claims.
The Hon. Susan Illston, United States District Judge for the Northern District of California, entered an Order partially denying Defendants’ motion to dismiss Lead Plaintiffs’ securities fraud complaint against corporate Defendant Velodyne Lidar, Inc. and individual Defendants Anand Gopalan, James Graf, and Michael Dee.
The Hon. Lorna G. Schofield entered a Final Judgment approving a $44 million settlement of Plaintiffs’ claims.
The Hon. Mary Kay Vyskocil granted final approval to the shareholder derivative settlement in In re Conduent Incorporated Stockholder Derivative Litigation
The Court preliminarily approved the $165M Blackberry securities class action settlement on June 14, 2022.
The Hon. William J. Martini entered a Final Judgment approving a $10 million settlement of Plaintiffs’ claims

The Hon. Vernon S. Broderick entered an Order approving the selection of KSF as Lead Counsel for the putative Class Siegel v. The Boston Beer Company, Inc. et al., Case No. 1:21-cv-7693-VSB (S.D.N.Y.).
